Jineg Ethnic Schools of South Australia (formally known as Dinka Bor Ethnic School) was established in 2010, the school was initially operating together with Sudanese Ethnic school until 2012 when it established it own board and registered with the South Australia non – governmental school and became independent entity. Jieng (Dinka) is a Nilotic language, divided into five major varieties or dialect clusters. It is spoken in South Sudan, Sudan and in the diaspora, especially in Australia, where about 48% of South Sudanese Australians speak Dinka at home (2016 census).Jieng (Dinka) is currently one of the languages available for year 12 students to chose as one of the Languages for South Australia Certificate of Secondary Education (SACE). We teaches Jieng (Dinka ) language from reception to year 10 at Playford International College.
